Localising our production is a continuous process. Some ingredients are easier to procure locally than others. Currently, finding almond oil at the quantity we require is not possible within Armenia, so we purchase most of it from Germany. However, almond cultivation is becoming more prevalent in Armenia, so we are confident that soon enough all of our almond oil will be sourced locally.
The almond oil we use is extracted through a cold-pressing process, which is ideal because it preserves the maximum amount of nutrients and fatty acids present in the kernels.
Skin Benefits
Almond oil is a nourishing oil that is fantastic for strengthening and moisturising normal, dry, and mature skin. Its stable composition and delicate scent make it a lovely addition to any moisturizing formula. This oil softens and fortifies the skin thanks to a large quantity of omega-9, the most moisturising of the fatty acids, but it also contains skin-soothing omega-6. Furthermore, it protects the skin from the first signs of ageing, due to an abundance of Vitamin E and phytosterols that provide antioxidant protection.
